Thom began playing guitar at a very young age, music helped to deal with a broken home and never seeming to fit anywhere. Trained with a classical and jazz teacher, Thom switched to rock music and Jazz fusion and began performing and recording with various bands. During this time in between studio and touring , Thom struggled as a very broken person covering the pain with alcohol, drugs and the accolades of playing music. During the 90's Thom toured all over the country, worked with artists such as Jody Watley, Piece's of a Dream, doing session and touring covering all kinds of genre's and world music's. In 2004 Thom left music, gave up alcohol/drugs, became a Christian and spent several years in homeless outreach and healing. In 2009, Thom resumed his music career, working with up and coming vocalist Angelia Robinson and with the band Pillar of Fire, Thom was able to start channeling all he'd been through, through the music and saw how God could reach people and change lives. Thom spent the next 3 years elevating with Jazz singer Lisa Gilliam, Vocalist's Tanya Blount and working with all kinds of artists, even HipHop. Thom formed the band The C and T Connection with Cassia The Poet whose testimony was similar and began an to minister with her and their band sharing their stories of hope and transformation. Thom also became the guitarist for vocalist Tanya Dallas Lewis. In 2012, Thom stepped out on his own combining all the music influences with a message of hope. Thom mixes his Jazz background with world music he studied early in his career, Latin and African influences. Thom released his first solo project in 2013 "A Work In Progress" combining Jazz with world music influences. Thom has performed in Europe and toured the United States, performing in arena's such as Washington Nationals Stadium, Patriot Center, Washington Convention Center, Carter Barron Amphitheatre, Blue's Alley, The Arc Theater and the UniverSoul Circus. Thom has appeared and performed WGGS Niteline Tv, Fox 5 DC WTTG, Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), The Word Network, and is a regular on Atlanta Live, WATC 57.
