The company was founded in 2000 by Mr. Shondell Hay to facilitate the implementation of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Security Camera Systems for home and business use.  With over twenty years of experience as a security professional specializing in the protection of the life and property assets of federal, state, and other business corporations, he wanted to establish a company to give this same service to the residential community. During his career with the U.S. Department of State in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, the company’s initial target market focused primarily on Physical Security Consulting in advising companies and individuals on how to improve their security by identifying threats and vulnerabilities and creating cost-effective countermeasures to reduce risk.

In the latter part of 2004, at the recommendation of clients and customers of video surveillance, Penta Networking Group decided to expand its services beyond Physical Security Consulting and have a Security Systems Division. Today, we provide the professional services of sales, installation, or preventative maintenance of CCTV Security Camera Systems. We are also well known as one of the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC metropolitan area leading sales, service, and installation companies for security cameras.
